The elongated connection (2) transmits the rotary movement of the cylinder core (1) to other parts of the lock. One, spherical end (4) of the connection is held in a socket of the ball-and-socket holder (5) joined to the cylinder core, and prevented from turning on its longitudinal axis, and from moving in a longitudinal direction. The cylinder core has an entry duct (10) crosswise to the cylinder's axis and into which the spherical head is inserted when the connection is mounted. The spherical head has at least one protuberance (7) extending radially to the longitudinal axis of the connection beyond the radius of the spherical head.
