PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cutting device to cut paper material easily and quickly in a desired shape. SOLUTION: The device comprises a laser device 1 which emits a laser beam 2, pulse width of which is less than 300 nsec and not less than 10 kw at its peak power, a positioning stand 3 which is freely movable in the horizontal direction and holds paper 4 affixed, and a condensing mirror 5 and a condensing lens 6 which leads the laser beam 2 to a predetermined position on the paper 4, resulting in the realization of cutting paper 4 easily and quickly in a desired shape. |
