PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to simply store and reproduce a state operated by a client on a WEB browser. SOLUTION: When a client requires to store an operation state executed on the WEB browser, the browser instructs the regeneration of a page (page regenerating instruction in step 100) and generates a uniform resource locator(URL) including a query character string for specifying the operation state (step 101). Then the browser transmits the URL to a WEB server (step 104) and receives and displays page information returned from the server and corresponding to the URL (steps 105, 106). In the case of requiring the storage of the page reflecting the operation state, the client uses a URL storing function formed in the browser and stores the URL expressing the page (step 107). |
