PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording device and the like which generates an optimum recording control pulse in accordance with linear velocity and a medium characteristic and can perform highly reliable record and reproduction. SOLUTION: A recording control pulse is divided into plural parts, a pulse of each part is generated by partial pulse generating circuit 302, a partial pulse selected by a partial pulse selecting circuit 303 is synthesized by a partial pulse synthesizing circuit 304, and a recording control pulse is outputted. A selecting signal for selecting a partial pulse by the partial pulse selecting circuit 303 is selected by recording power, linear velocity, medium information, a result of test record and the like. Therefore, a pit of a shape having less frequency of occurrence of erroneous code at the time of reproducing is formed on a recording medium by outputting always an optimum recording control pulse, highly reliable recording and reproducing can be performed. |
