PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact IC card allowed to be used also in a battery OFF state. SOLUTION: The non-contact IC card includes a battery 10 in its inside and has a power supply means 4 for rectifying a carrier signal and generating voltage and a power supply switching means 9 for comparing the voltage value of the battery 10 with the value of voltage generated by the means 4. When the battery 10 has power supplying capacity, long distance communication can be executed by supplying power from the battery 10, and when the battery is dead, IC card is brought close to an interrogator and voltage is supplied from the means 4, so that the IC card can continuously maintain its function. |
