Diagnosis method for IC engine exhaust feedback system

摘要

The diagnosis method is used for an exhaust feedback system in which the approximate fuel quantity for a required mixture ratio is calculated in a control unit using stored data for the exhaust feedback system, with subsequent correction dependent on a regulation factor obtained from the mixture ratio. The regulation factor is obtained with and without the exhaust feedback system being operative, with storage and comparison of the regulation factors and evaluation of the difference between the regulation factors by comparison with given values, for providing a fault signal.
