PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make waterproofing work easy by a method wherein a thermoplastic resin bag is filled with a specified improved asphalt composition for sealing waterproof sheet and thereby sealant for waterproof sheet is made up, and the sealant is formed in a barlike, beltlike or cordlike shape. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin bag is filled with a waterproof sheet sealing improved asphalt composition, for which melt viscosity at 100 deg.C is 5,000-100,000 centipoise, low temperature folding endurance is 0 deg.C or below and softening point is 90 deg.C or above. Sealant for waterproof sheet made up by being filled with the asphalt composition is formed in a barlike, beltlike or cordlike shape. Then, the sealant is dipped in 100 deg.C hot water and after the sealant is warmed up to 100 deg.C, a caulking gun is loaded with the sealant and the sealant is supplied to joints of waterproof sheets and thereby the waterproof sheets are joined together. Thermoplastic resin forming the thermoplastic resin bag is such that is not melted at the temperature whereat the asphalt composition is melted and enables the bag to be blown up inside the caulking gun to discharge the asphalt composition. Accordingly, environmental pollution caused by fumes, offensive odor and the like can be prevented. |
