For laundering in a domestic dry cleaning appliance, the laundry is placed in the drum (16) which is charged with a washing fluid which is non-reactive and without water, has no affinity with grease, has no polarity and contains at least one washing additive. A mechanical energy generates relative movements between the laundry and the fluid, followed by removal of the fluid and the laundry is taken from the appliance. |
