<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust collected by an ion type air cleaner from being scattered, and to enhance the dust collection efficiency, by providing a fan type dust collection part constituted of a dust collecting and deodorizing filter and a fan, etc., at the downstream side of an ionic wind generating at the time of discharging. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a filter 6, a fan 7, etc., and air sucked by the fan 7 is passed through the filter 6 and then discharged. A fan type dust collection part is provided at the downstream side of an ionic wind generating with ion type dust collection and an air stream sucked by the fan works also as an auxiliary wind for the ionic wind. Also, even in the case that the dusts stuck to dust collection paper 3 at the ion type dust collection part are blown off with wind from the fan, the dust can be recollected with the filter 6. Corona discharge at the ion type dust collection part generates a trace of ozone. A high concentration of the ozone has a harmful influence on the human body. Activated carbon has a work to adsorb the ozone and in the case that a deodorizing work of the filter 6 depends upon the activated carbon, the activated carbon works effectively to adsorb the ozone.</p> |
