METHOD DETERMINING DISPLACEMENT OF AXLES OF MOTOR VEHICLES

FIELD: motor transport. SUBSTANCE: method determining displacement of axles of motor vehicle consists in selection of base elements located in symmetry to each axle on both sides from its center, in measurement of distance between base elements, in determination of angular displacement of each axle relative to longitudinal axis of motor vehicle and lateral displacement of axles with reference to each other. Then base elements are additionally selected on bottom of body or frame of motor vehicle located in symmetry on both sides from longitudinal axis of body or frame of motor vehicle at any distances on both sides of line of needed position of axle. Distances between additional base elements of each axle and distances between additional and principal base elements arranged on both side from center of each axle are measured on this line and longitudinal and lateral displacements of each axle are found additionally. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of method thanks to increased number of parameters used to diagnose technical condition of bearing system of motor vehicle. 4 dwg øøø1
