PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is high in energy density and inexpensive and have a long life. SOLUTION: When lithium manganese oxide which is used as a positive active material is shown by a general expression of Li1+x Mn2 -x O4+δ in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which lithium manganese oxide made a main positive active electrode material, 0.020<=x<=0.125, δ<0, and x and δ are values in which the average oxide value number (N) of all manganese atoms contained satisfies 3.485<N<3.525. |
