PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of fixing the toner image without adopting any optical system in forming the latent image and without transferring the toner image on paper by forming the latent image on selectively destaticizing the electric charge on respective surface of uniformly electrified insulator corresponding to an electric signal including the image information, and fixing on heat-fusing the toner, after developing, while pressing on a paper sheet. SOLUTION: The respective insulator 10 is uniformly charged (charged in positive or negative polarity) on a surface thereof by the corona discharge or contact charge. The latent image is formed on the insulator by adopting an electron discharging element application printing head 12, and selectively destaticizing the charged insulator 10, in accordance to the image signal. The toner image 14 is allowed to stick on the insulator 10 in accordance with the latent image and developed. Secondly, the toner 14 stuck on the insulator 10 is fused by heating. The fused toner 14' is transferred and simultaneously fixed on a paper sheet 16 being laid thereon. Then, the paper sheet 16 on which the fused toner 14' is fixed, is separated from the insulator 10. In such a manner, the image is formed. |
