The invention relates to a device for the prevention of automobile theft. It is comprised of rigid bars (1, 2, 3), a double self-locking jaw (4), and a security lock (5). The user moves the seat (8) forward and inclines it onto the steering wheel (9), and fits the double jaw (4) onto the side of the wheel, straps down the back of the seat (8), and locks the device on the opposite side. The seat (8) and steering wheel (9) are thus locked together. The application of the invention is to vehicles with folding seats.
