PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light, small, compact and reliable light satellite terminal by controlling a light alignment by coherent multiplex reception, modulating a light phase by a semiconductor amplifier and specifying a transmission bit rate and a transmission distance. SOLUTION: A strong beam which can easily be detected by a facing terminal is emitted, a strong corresponding beam from a facing terminal is acquired or an alignment device realizes a link by first approximation in a first partial process. Then, the linkage of the facing terminal and the terminal is adjusted and traced by operating a micro adjustment device. The terminal controls light alignment by coherent multiplex reception, and modulates the light phase by the semiconductor amplifier. A transmission bit rate from at least 100 Mbit/s to preferably 1.5 Gbit/s and the transmission distance from at least 500 m to 4500 km, preferably 1200 km, are specified. |
