<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time required for obtaining a pulse compression result by receiving double reflection pulses in a complementary train and repeating the transmission of the double transmission pulses for each pulse repetition cycle PRI. SOLUTION: Three phase-modulated pulses by Code A, Code B, and Barker trains in a complementary train have been transmitted until now, thus requiring 3PRI time. On the other hand, in a pulse compression transmission/reception device, only the phase-modulated transmission pulses by the Code A and the Code B in the complementary train are used and also two pulses are transmitted within 1 PRI, thus obtaining one pulse compression result with 1 PRI. When there is no phase modulation in a reception signal due to Doppler frequency, a range side lobe is set to 0. When there is a phase modulation, the deterioration in the peak range side lobe level is reduced. In addition, a configuration is simple, thus reducing a time required for obtaining one pulse compression result.</p> |
