PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fixability of ink when it is used for ink jet by containing a specified amount of an organic compound having a specified aldehyde group in a color-developing layer and also a specified amount of a water- soluble binder. SOLUTION: An organic compound having at least two aldehyde groups in one molecule is malonic dialdehyde, succinic dialdehyde, glutaradialdehyde, adipic dialdehyde, maleic dialdehyde or phthalic dialdehyde. Such organic compound is 0.5 to 5 wt.%. The water-soluble binder is oxidized starch, esterified starch, carboxylmethyl cellulose, cellulose derivative such as hydroxy cellulose, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, casein, or gelatin. The amount of a developer applied the developing layer is not limited as long as the developing property is within a specified range and varies depending on a prescription, but, it is roughly 0.1 to 7 g/m<2> . |
