PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of a hot offset, or paper wrinkles derived from the non-paper passing section temp. rise, due to the passing of a paper having different width, by making the time after the passing end of last recording paper passes through a nip part, until the leading end of the recording paper with the different width plunges into the nip part, change in accordance with the passing paper size of deferent width. SOLUTION: Preparing a table deciding the temp. rise coefficient of a pressure roller surface, in accordance with the passing paper size, from the time when the transfer material passes through the nip part and when it does not pass through, and the temp. control temp. at the time point for instance, for every 125 msec, and then the temp. rise on the paper passing section and the no paper passing section is calculated. Or simply, the respective temp. rise on the paper passing section and the non-paper passing section is estimated based on the paper size and passing number of paper sheets. Then, by making the post rotating time changed in accordance with the result thereof, a level of the hot offset is improved when performing the paper passing of the wide paper, after the consecutive paper passing of the narrow paper. Moreover, since the deformation derived from thermal expansion of the pressure roller 7 is restrained, the paper wrinkles occurrence at the time of the wide paper printing after the consecutive paper passing of the wide paper is prevented. |
