PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a regular image forming operation even if a response from a data communication equipment does not exist by starting the transmission control of user request data and returning a mode from a user request input mode to a regular image forming operation mode with a prescribed key operation on an operation display part. SOLUTION: Copying devices 1-5 are moved from the regular copying mode to the user request input mode for inputting a request which a user requires with the prescribed key operation on the operation display part. When user request data is inputted, control for transmitting data to a central control unit 6 through a data communication equipment 7 and a communication line 8 is started. When there is the response from the data communication equipment 7, a result whether user request data arrives at the central control unit 6 or not on the operation display part. Thus, the mode can be returned from the user request input mode to the regular copying operation mode with the operation of a prescribed key on the operation display part before that. |
