摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance printing accuracy and durability by preventing a torsional force from acting onto a carriage during print scanning operation of the carriage. SOLUTION: A scanning carriage 50 for reciprocating a recording head is provided with an adjusting lever 581 and a pressure lever 582. The adjusting lever 581 has a sliding face 585 and the pressure lever 582 has a guide face 582b. The sliding face 585 and the guide face 582b are disposed oppositely through a guide rail 82 and the carriage 50 is reciprocated along the guide rail 82. The guide face 582b of the pressure lever 582 is located at same position as the sliding face 585 of the adjusting lever 581 and pressed against the guide rail 82 by means of a pressure spring 583.
