PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retardant resin composition simultaneously having self-lubricating properties and flame retardance by blending a ABS resin with a bromine based flame retardant, antimony trioxide used as a flame-retardant auxiliary and having a specific particle size and silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:The aimed flame-retardant resin composition obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. ABS resin with (B) 10-20 pts.wt. bromine based flame retardant (e.g., tetrabromobisphenol A or decabromophenyloxide), (C) 1-5 pts.wt. antimony trioxide used as a flame-retardant auxiliary and having <=1mum particle size and (D) 0.5-10 pts.wt., preferably 2-5 pts.wt. silicone oil (preferably polydimethylsiloxane) having 1000-30000CS(25 deg.C) viscosity and as necessary processing aid (e.g., ethylenebisstearic acid amide), phosphorus based or hindered phenol based stabilizer, etc., and then melting and kneading the blend using an extruder, etc. |
