<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently supply a power supply output for the wide changing range of a load current by switching the switching frequency of a switching regulator based on the load status of a portable-type computer being outputted from the portable-type computer. SOLUTION: A power supply switch is turned on, a power supply voltage is supplied from a switching regulator 1 to a portable-type computer 6, the portable-type computer 6 is started, a firmware being built in a ROM 5 is read, a system controller 3 is reset until a normal operation is enabled, and control signals A and B to a frequency switching circuit 2 are set to a default status, HIGH. In this status, the switching frequency of the switching regulator 1 is switched based on the load status of the portable-type computer 6 being outputted from the portable-type computer 6.</p> |
