PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the stable weight reduction processing, suppress the deterioration in strength, regulate the touch feeling of a cellulosic fiber- containing textile product and obtain the extremely soft and high-quality product by reducing the weight of a cellulosic fiber with water containing ozone and a cellulolytic enzyme. SOLUTION: The weight of a cellulosic fiber is reduced with water containing preferably 0.1-100ppm, more preferably 0.5-10ppm ozone and a cellulolytic enzyme such as a cellulase (used in an amount of preferably 0.1-4.0% expressed in terms of an aqueous solution) at, e.g. 40-60 deg.C for 20min to 24hr to regulate the touch feeling of a cellulosic fiber-containing textile product. |
