PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof pan for a washing machine and a drain trap, allowing members of the drain trap to be easily cleaned without soiling on a bottom face of the waterproof pan for the washing machine when cleaning the members.SOLUTION: A waterproof pan for a washing machine and a drain trap are constituted of: the waterproof pan 1 for the washing machine, consisting of a bottom face 2 having an opening 2a, peripheral walls 3 arranged in the periphery of the bottom face 2, and footrest bases 4 arranged on the bottom face 2; and the drain trap T consisting of a trap body 9 to be attached to the opening 2a, a water sealing bowl 12, and a deodorizing cylinder 13. Moreover, a recess 5 is arranged in the peripheral wall 3, a step part 6 is formed from the periphery of the opening 2a of the waterproof pan for the washing machine to the recess 5, and a height width from a lower end of the recess 5 and a bottom face of the step part 6 to an upper end of the footrest base 4 is made wider than the vertical width of the water sealing bowl 12 and the deodorizing cylinder 13. Thereby, the drain trap is constituted in such a manner that the deodorizing cylinder 13 and the water sealing bowl 12 are taken out upward from the opening 2a and taken out from the recess 5 as they are without being tilted. |
