PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion or staining by giving the same spacing as pixel lines to the lines of a print head and providing nozzles at the same spacing as pixel lines and establishing a print mask without addressing adjoining pixels in each scan. SOLUTION: The lines of a pixel grid are given the same spacing as pixel lines and nozzles are also provided at the same spacing as pixel lines. In addition, in each scan, whether in the horizontal, vertical or diagonal direction, an ink jet print head is controlled by providing a mean of establishing print masks in positions where adjoining pixels are not addressed. And the specification of a path number in a specified cell of a mask is applied directly by the central processor of a system, and is performed through coordination of a carriage driving mechanism 31, a medium precursor mechanism 42, a coding sensor 37, pen nozzles and related injectors. |
