PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for an outdoor route for a signal cable and a power cable and to easily perform transmission and reception at low cost by receiving odds information which is sent periodically by radio and outputting selectively specified odds information from the received odds information. SOLUTION: A transmitter 2 having an antenna is installed at a municipally operated racecourse while connected to a host system 1. Odds printers 3-1 to 3-m are installed in consideration of lines of flow of fans. Then the latest odds information corresponding to respective races in held courses and betting styles which are calculated by the host system 1 is sent periodically from the transmitter 2 by an FM character multiplex communication system and received by the odds printers 3-1 to 3-n respectively. Consequently, no outdoor route is needed for signal cables and power cables. Therefore, the host system 1 and odds printers 3-1 to 3-n can be installed newly, and extended and moved respectively at low cost in a short period with ease. |
