The invention relates to an electric motor (1) with an impeller (3) and a diffuser (4) which is connected radially to said impeller (3). Said impeller (3) has guide blades (21) with a guide blade height (b4) and said diffuser (4) has walls (8) with a wall height (b2). According to the invention, the height of the diffuser wall (b2) to the height of the guide blades (b4) should range between 1.7 and 1.2 approximately, in order to create an electric motor with a impeller (3) and a diffuser (4) connected radially to said impeller (3) which has a good production design, which will remain stable and achieve a good degree of efficiency during strong throttling. |
