DEVELOPING SOLUTION FOR PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL FOR FORMING COLOR IMAGE AND MANUFACTURE OF COLOR FILTER BY USING IT AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve problems on deterioration of developing ability in an inorganic alkali type developing solution and on the treatment of a waste solution of an organic alkali type developing solution in the developing solution for the color image forming photosensitive material. SOLUTION: The developing solution for the color image forming photosensitive material contains at least one kind of inorganic alkali selected from a group comprising sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, sodium metasilicate, potassium metasilicate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, and tetrasodium borate, and a compound represented by one of formulae I and II in which R<1> is an 1-19C alkyl group, and R<2> is a 1-19C alkylene group. This developing solution is preferably used for developing the color image forming photosensitive material containing a resin, a pigment, a monomer having one or more photopolymerizable unsaturated bond in the molecule, and a photoinitiator.
