<p>A dispenser (21) for articles holds a stack (31) of individual articles (33) for serial dispensing from the bottom of the stack. A sloped member (35) at the base of the dispenser inclines forward into the downward path of the stack to contact at least a lowest one (33a) of the articles of the stack. The sloped member (35) is oriented to urge this article outwardly from alignment with the overlying stack when the dispenser is positioned with the stack aligned vertically. In one version, the dispenser is enclosed within a carton (119) suitable for shippig with a slot (107) defined at the base of the carton in the carton front (103). In another version the slot is an opening in a front wall of the dispenser. At least two dispensers can be placed in a carton and have their sloped members located at the carton base opposite the slot in the carton. The dispensers may be associated with different flavors, brands, or types of articles to be simultaneously and serially dispensed from the slot in the carton by the dispensers therein. </p> |
