PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode wherein reducing of irreversible capacity and improvement in cycle characteristics are possible. SOLUTION: An amorphous carbon is added to a powder carbon group material by 2-10wt.%, so that irreversible capacity of the electrode is reduced and cycle characteristics is improved. When the content of amorphous carbon is less than 2wt.%, the reduction of amorphous carbon content causes increase in electrode resistance, resulting in increase in irreversible capacity, thus cycle characteristics becomes worse. With the content of amorphous carbon over 10wt.%, the load on an active material increases to degrade cycle characteristics. This is a base concept. |
