<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting valve using a novel operational principle, whose structure is easier and operation is easy. SOLUTION: This starting air valve is equipped with a housing 1 in which first and second openings 1a, 1b are arranged, a passage through which the openings 1a, 1b are communicated with each other, a piston 2 which is arranged to be reciprocated between an opening position and a closing position in the housing 1 and disconnects the passage by being incorporated with a valve seat 1c in the closing position, means which retains the low speed flow of a pressure medium between the high pressure (Ph) range of one side part of the valve seat 1c and the pressure rising (Pa) range of the other side part of the valve seat 1c while the piston 1 is located in the closing position, and a spring member 5 by which the piston 2 is pushed and advanced to the closing position. Then, the piston 2 is provided with operating surfaces 2c-f which are exposed to high pressure or pressure rising and also generate a force component by which the piston 2 is pushed and advanced to the opening position or the closing position. The piston 2 is moved to the opening position when pressure difference between high pressure and pressure rising becomes lower than a threshold value. One high pressure range and two pressure rising ranges 11b, c; 11a, c are arranged in the housing 1, and the two ranges are communicated with each other by a passage 13 arranged in the piston 2.</p> |
