PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card bus connector such that quick repair can be made in the event of a lead soldering error in mounting the connector on the surface of a printed board, for use at a junction in a function expansion card that is fitted into a slot part in an equipment main body in order to expand the functions of, e.g. a personal computer. SOLUTION: A card bus connector 10 comprises an insulator 11, a contact fitted into a predetermined part of the insulator 11, and a shield plate 20 provided on the surface of the insulator 11, and is mounted on the surface of a printed board for a card bus by connecting the leads of the contact and the shield plate 20 to the circuit of the printed board, the shield plate 20 being freely removably attached to the insulator 11 by an engaging groove 13 provided in the insulator 11 and by an engaging part 21 provided on the shield plate and engaged in the engaging groove 13. |
