PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminescent block furnished with sufficient luminescent performance and rich in durability. SOLUTION: A luminescent block is constituted by burying a luminescent body furnished with a box body 1 having an opening part 2 above it, a light transmission plate 6 at least on one part of which a light irregular refraction part 7 is formed and which is fitted on the opening part 2 of the box body 1, reinforcing parts 5 lower ends of which are fastened on bottom surface of the box body 1 and upper ends of which make contact with lower surfaces of the light transmission plate 6, a solar battery 8 stored inside of the box body 1 and receiving solar light through the light transmission plate 6 and light emitting diodes 9 stored inside of the box body 1 so as to be positioned below the irregular refraction part 7 formed on the light transmission plate 6 and connected to the solar battery 8 through a storage battery 10 and a control device 11 on a front surface of a concrete block. Thereby, the light emitting diodes 9 are lighted on by electric power generated by the solar battery 8, and light emitted from the light emitting diodes 9 is diffused outside through the irregular refraction part 7 of the light transmission plate 6. |
