PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thoroughly mix and spray slaked lime with an absorbent for exhaust gas treatment in an appropriate quantity. SOLUTION: In a method for treating the exhaust gas containing harmful substance discharged in company with combustion and heat by spraying slaked lime, filtering and collecting the dusts with a filter type dust collector 3, this device is provided with a slaked lime feeding device 6, an absorbent feeding device 7 and a blowing device 8 for generating a transporation air stream for transporting the powder. The slaked lime and the adsorbent fed by respective feeding devices 6, 7 are mixed and transported with the transportation air stream via a transportation path, and are blown into a flue 5 at the upstream of the dust collector 3 or into the dust collector 3.
