PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to turn an obtained three dimensionally decorated semi-finished product into a final product by means of simple techniques such as cutting work and the like by a method wherein the semi-finished product is made of transparent polyamide having a specified impact value. SOLUTION: A three-dimensionally decorated or colored semi-finished product is manufactured out of transparent polyamide, which is specific as an aggregate and very hard, and copolyamide. In this case, the employment of a polyamide having an impact value of 4kJ/m<2> or larger is important. Only when the polyamide having the above-mentioned impact value is employed for the semi-finished product, a usable product is manufactured through a following chip removing work, especially cutting work. Accordingly, the polyamide equipped with the above-mentioned characteristics is selected for the chip removing work. In this case, the polyamide has preferably a solution viscosity coefficient of 1.40 or more and a glass transition temperature higher than 100 deg.C. Further, the execution of an especially developed decoration technique is useful. |
