摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely crush large quantities of waste fluorescent tubes with good workability and to enable volume reduction by performing crushing treatment in the inside of a crushing part surrounded so as to crush the waste fluorescent tube by a rotary knife of the inside while continuously transferring the waste fluorescent tubes by using a conveyor mechanism. SOLUTION: Waste fluorescent tubes F1 charged from the waste fluorescent tube-charging part 15 of a cylindrical body 12 are sent to a crushing part 13 by a conveyor belt driven by a motor 22 for driving and stepwise pulverized by rotary knives 30, 36 and fall down into a drum can K and are accumulated. In the meantime, air in the drum can K is continuously sucked by a suction device 68 and both fine powder and harmful substance are removed by a filter 61 and an adsorption device. When a charging sensor fitted to an elevating/ lowering cover 54 detects that the inside of the drum can K nearly becomes full, charge of the waste fluorescent tube F1 is stopped. Thereafter, when a motive cylinder 52 is turned on, a bellows mechanism 50 is shrunk and the elevating/lowering cover 56 is separated from the routine drum can K and therefore it is replaced with the empty drum can K.</p>
