PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a more comfortable and favorable acceleration and deceleration in entire operation state and also improve a fuel consumption by regulating the characteristic of an acceleration/driven number of rotation which is the base of a changeover program by the changeover frequency of a back axle transmission having a lowest axle ratio. SOLUTION: A vehicular acceleration (a) and the driven number of rotation n2 of a transmission output side are measured and when the acceleration (a) and driven number of rotation n2 are dropped to a changeover point on the changeover characteristic curve n2 (a) of the acceleration-driven number of rotation, a speed change is started. This changeover characteristic curve n2 (a) is formed in a step shape course provided with at least two break points amax , amin and set so that the slant of the changeover characteristic curve for the value of the acceleration amin <a<amax can have a characteristic which is always the slant of the value of the acceleration a<=amin or a>=amax or less. A average value is found out from the changeover point of a prescribed number written in a memory and the position of the changeover characteristic is decided from this average value. |
