PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the rotational torque of a rotary member in a toner container low even when the charging quantity of toner is increased due to that the toner in the container is aggregated or the bulk density of the toner becomes high by providing tapered parts whose toner capacities are consecutively or stepwise decreased as it goes to end faces in a toner container main body. SOLUTION: In the tapered parts 3, a driving side end face 2a on one of the end faces 2 in the toner container main body 1 or the other end face 2b is formed to the shape of an outward taper in the direction of an arrow A in the container main body 1 and the toner capacity is consecutively or stepwise decreased as it goes to the driving side end face 2a or the other end face 2b. A toner discharge member 5 integrally provided with a toner scraping blade 5a on the outer periphery is fixed on a bearing part 2a1 fixed on the driving side end face 2a and a rotary shaft 5b freely rotatably held by a bearing part 2b1 and rotationally driven by a motor connected to the rotary shaft 5b outside the driving side end face 2a or a drive source 6 for a gear train, etc., for transmitting rotational driving force. |
