PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a reform to a support part of a differential gear in an automobile, move a differential carrier in a vertical direction, increase this moving amount larger than a specified value, with both upper/lower movement beyond the specified value, when rapid starting or rapid reversing is performed, so as to prevent generation of abnormal sound. SOLUTION: In a device supporting a differential carrier 6 through a mount member 2 on a differential mount arm 4 cross mounted in a frame 1 in car body both sides, the mount member 2 is formed by a shaft 3 protruded from the frame 1, pipe material 10 covering a periphery of this shaft 3, and a rubber member 11 secured to a periphery of this pipe material 10, in a periphery of the rubber member, the differential mount arm 4 is secured, also sectional shape of a protruded part 11a facing to the frame 1 of the rubber member 11 is formed in mountain shape, in a part facing to the differential carrier 6 of the differential mount arm 4, a flat surface 4a is formed, in a side of the differential carrier 6, a stopper 12 of mountain-shaped section is provided facing to this flat surface 4a.
