PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustment of an antenna direction by providing function for identifying radio wave reception from a digital broadcasting satellite. SOLUTION: A signal received by an antenna and converted by a down- converter is input from a terminal 1 into a tuner 2, dialed, converted into an intermediate frequency signal, and amplified in an IF amplification part 3. A signal from the IF amplification part is detected by a wave detection part 4, amplified in a level conversion part 5 and applied to a level meter 6 to cause an indicator to swing according to radio wave strength. In the case of a digitally modulated wave, an orthogonally modulated signal from the IF amplification part is input to an I/Q demodulation part 7 for demodulating I-axis components and Q-axis components, and is converted into a digital signal in an A/D- conversion part 8. Video and audio signals or the like are demodulated in a QPSK demodulation part 9, and a signal output from the QPSK demodulation part 9 is applied via a level conversion part 10 to a display part 11 (such as LED), wherein the display part is lit in the case of digital broadcasting.
