Tactile communication apparatus comprising a central processing unit (10) having a data store (11), an output processor (12), means for controlling the output of data from the date store (11) to the output processor (12), and output means (16) connected to receive data from the processor, the output means having tactile sensor units responsive to the output data whereby the output of the computer can be determined by touch.
