ANTIVIRAL COMBINATION, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING THEREOF AND ITS USE

Antiviral combination contains a combination of (2R,cis)- -4-amino-1-(2-hydroxy-methyl-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl)-1H- pyrimidin-2-one (3TC) or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof and 3'-azido-3'-deoxythymidine (AZT) or pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof. Pharmaceutical compositions containing the said combination are suitable for the treatment of HIV positive patients and prevention of those who are endangered.
