PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to grasp the application allowance of a power control element at real time and to surely secure the safety operation of a device. SOLUTION: The collector current of an output control transistor(TR) 12 is detected by a current sensor 23, its collector and emitter voltage levels are respectively detected, the real collector loss of the TR 12 is found out by a CPU 17, and the limit value of the collector loss is found out based on so-called ASO. The safety degree or dangerouseness degree of the TR 12 is calculated based on these data, reported by a speaker 25 and displayed by an indicator 26, so that the application allowance of the TR 12 can be objectively grasped at real time. |
