The supply of oil fuel to a pot-burner is controlled by a system which includes an outlet valve 3 having a spindle 5 bearing against a lever 6 which is actuated by a pin 8 of a device responsive to room temperature and the lower limit of position of lever 6 is determined by a stop member 12, the upper limit being determined by the arm 18 of a double-armed lever of which the other arm 17 is moved by a temperature-sensitive unit 14 having a temperature feeler 15 responsive to the temperature of the ,heater chimney so that the fuel supply is restricted until the chimney is warm to prevent excessive formation of soot. |
