<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method which improves recovering ratio of aluminum in dross by compressing and separating fluid content, such as air, mixed into the aluminum metal and dross in melting state contained in the aluminum dross scraped from a treating furnace while efficiently breaking the arch formed in the dross and can execute the efficient treatment having high recovering efficiency of the alminum with a large treated quantity in one time. SOLUTION: At the time of separating and recovering the molten aluminum in the dross 11 by incorporating the dross 11 held to the m.p. or higher of the aluminum into a compressing chamber, interposing a pushing plate 8 for substantially covering the whole dross 11, acting partial pressurizing force through the pushing plate 8 in succession and compressing the dross 11 while shifting and deforming in the different direction to the pressurizing direction, the applying of smaller prescribed force than the applying pressure at the last step, is stored and then, the applying pressure at the last step is made to the highest applying pressure state.</p> |
