<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat wastewater to proper temperature during winter time and activate biological activity by installing a heating means in an aeration pipe route in a contact aeration tank and supplying heated air to the contact aeration tank in wastewater treatment by biological sludge produced on the surface of the contact material with which the contact aeration tank is filled. SOLUTION: After passing a flow rate adjusting tank 2 and a plurality of pumps and measuring apparatuses, wastewater is sent to contact aeration tanks 4, 5 housing aeration apparatuses connected with an aeration pipeline 14 from a blower chamber 1. Then, of the wastewater in a precipitation tank 6, suspended solid of biological sludge peeled out the filtration bed parts of respective contact aeration tanks 4, 5 is precipitation separated and the supernatant water is released and on the other hand, the precipitated sludge is transferred to a sludge concentrating tank 9 by an air lift pump 11 and separated into sludge and an effluent liquid and the sludge is transferred to a sludge storing tank 10. In this case, an air heating apparatus 20 is installed above the aeration pipeline 14 to heat the air sent from the blower 1 and the heated air is supplied to respective tanks through the aeration pipe, so that the temperature of the wastewater is elevated.</p> |
