FIELD: transport engineering; hydraulic manipulators installed on vehicles; retractable supports to increase stability of different machines. SUBSTANCE: outrigger has turnable post hinge suspended from base and furnished with extensible foot in form of double-acting hydraulic cylinder with support footstep mounted on cylinder rod. Outrigger has also mechanism to set post in transportation position or operating position and detachable pin-type member fixing the post in extreme positions. Outrigger post change-over mechanism is made in form of crank-and-connecting rod device in which foot-extending hydraulic cylinder rod serves as driving member. Reciprocating motion of rod is converted into rotary motion of outrigger post by means of lever system. EFFECT: simplified design and improved performance characteristics of outriggers and, consequently, hydraulic manipulators with vehicles as a whole. 8 dwgo
