Sound damping cushion

The sound damping cushion, for an acoustic damper in gas channels or shafts to suppress the gas flow noise, is in a cube shape with a sound absorbent filling. A skin covers all the narrow sides (10.1-10.4) of the cube and is bonded in place. L-shaped corner reinforcements (3.1-3.4) are at the cube corners to stiffen the filling and the cushion. The filling is of mineral fibres, porous ceramics and/or foam. Covering film strips (4) are of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene or polystyrene, paper or aluminium foil.
