PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof construction suitable for mounting roofing integrated with a solar battery by arranging rafters and battens on a main house, attaching the roofing to the battens, and placing partition plates on the main house for enhanced ventilation. SOLUTION: A tile 4 integrated with a solar battery has a single-crystal silicon solar battery element placed in the recessed part of a tile main body 41 obtained by press molding of a steel plate, is protected by transparent reinforced glass 42, and has a hook 44 and an auxiliary projection 45 which are formed respectively at its lower and upper edges. Rafters 2 are mounted on a main house 1, battens 3 are placed thereon, the tiles 4 are attached to the battens 3 by the hooks 44 and the auxiliary projections 45, and the external connection terminals of the tiles 4 are connected to terminal parts provided at the battens 3. Also, partition plates 5 are placed on the main house 1, an air inlet is provided at an eaves part, and an air outlet is provided at a ridge part to form airflow in the space between the battens 2. Thus ventilation is enhanced, the conversion efficiency of the solar battery is enhanced by cooling effects, and the roof suitable for mounting the tiles 4 integrated with solar batteries can be constructed. |
