PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image of the excellent printing quality being free from the printing defect such as fog, thinning, black stripes or the like by providing means capable of returning toner in the developer container by circulating means, uniformizing discharge of the toner from developing means, and suppressing the difference of property specific to the toner with respect to the shaft direction of the device. SOLUTION: In this device, the residual toner on a photoreceptor drum 20 is scraped down from the phtoreceptor drum by a blade 28 of a cleaner 26, and allowed to return into the toner chamber 38 by the toner circulating mechanism 46. Then, in the case the toner is consumed by the developing work, the toner quantity in the carriers chamber 34 is reduced, and the volume of developer consisting of the carriers and the toner becomes to small. At this time, the toner contained in the toner chamber 38 is fed in the carriers chamber 34 by the rotary work of agitators 40 and 42, by a degree of the lost toner, therefore the toner density in the carriers chamber 34 is maintained to be constant. Moreover, the localization of the toner in the shaft direction in the toner chamber 38 level by the agitators 40 and 42. |
