PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a color filter without lowering the definition by providing convex walls of electric insulating films formed on plural lines of wirings and coloring layers transmitting visible light having a specific wavelength in arer surrounded by these convex walls. SOLUTION: Polymer electrodeposited films 13a are formed on the pattern of gate bus wiring 16 by impressing a DC voltage only on gate bus wirings 16 without impressing the voltage on source bus wirings 17, by using a stainless plate or the like as a counter electrode, by setting so that a desired current is made to flow through the gate bus wirings 16 and by dipping a substrate in an electrodeposition liquid consisting of high polymer electrodeposition material. Similarly, high electrodeposition films 13b are formed on the pattern of source bus wirings 17. Recessed parts surrounded by gate bus wirings 16 and the source bus wirings 17 are formed by forming high polymer electrodeposition films 13a, 13b on gate bus wirings 16 and the source bus wirings 17 in this manner. Then, color filters 11 are formed by filling coloring materials in these recessed parts. |
